Kingswood Town Council are excited to announce the Kingswood Lantern Parade in Kingswood park on the 3rd November. This will be a free family friendly event for the whole community!
If you would like to take part in the parade, there will be 2 opportunities to make a lantern: During the Social Sundays at Kings Chase event on the same day or at the park from 16:30 onwards. The lantern workshops are being ran by Colourful Minds. Dressing up in fairy lights and glow in the dark items is absolutely encouraged. No floating lanterns are allowed at this event or in Kingswood Park as they are harmful to the environment and wildlife.
The parade will set off at 17:30 so please make sure you have arrived and are ready to go by this time if you’d like to take part in or watch the parade procession. Before and after the parade there will be circus performances, music and the chance to purchase hot drinks and sweet treats.
