This afternoon, some of our Councillors visited the Kingswood Heritage Museum. The museum is inside an 18th Century brass mill and home to the Warmley Windmill & Grottoes. The museum is fully managed by volunteers who also run a café and put on regular evening talks which are very popular.
Kingswood Town Council’s Community Grant Scheme awarded £10,000 to the Kingswood Heritage Museum towards solar panels and battery storage, to move the museum to being more carbon neutral and reduce future overheads. We’re really proud to be supporting this project.
