Full Council Committee

Comprised of fifteen members of the Council who will meet as a committee on a monthly basis.

The Chair of the Council , Stephen Forsythe, was elected on 14th May 2024 at the Annual Town Council meeting.

The Vice Chair of the Council, Ken Rabone, was elected on 14th May 2024 at the Annual Town Council meeting.

The Committee deals with matters such as

• setting the precept and approval of the Council’s budget
• approval of the annual accounts
• making, amending or revoking of Standing Orders
• Financial Regulations and this Scheme of Delegation
• adoption or revision of the Council’s Code of Conduct
• matters of principle or policy
• the making, amending or revoking of byelaws

The Council has established three committees, which will report to full council after each of its meetings:

• Planning and Highways Committee
• Finance and Administration Committee
• Staffing Committee

Each Committee has its own set of Terms of Reference
