Councillor Vacancies
There are three vacancies on Kingswood Town Council and this offers a great opportunity for local residents to get involved with the newly formed council.
Have a look at the application form to see if you qualify, come to a meeting to see what it is all about, or speak to the Clerk or a Councillor before you commit, to find out what is involved.
Please make it clear on your application form which ward you are applying to be a councillor for. You do not have to live in that ward, but be willing to hear from residents in that ward.
Closing date for your application 1st July 2024, and for you to be available to attend the town council meeting on 9th July, at 7pm, in The Park Centre, Kingswood, where the cooption will take place.
Please note that this is an unpaid, voluntary position but with an opportunity to attend training and claim some mileage expenses.
