As Clerk and Proper Officer, Charlotte ensures that all the necessary functions required by law , as well as the instructions of the Council, are carried out. Working closely with Councillors, Charlotte ensures that the strategic objectives of the council are converted into projects, and ensures that value for money is achieved in the delivery of activities and services.  Charlotte attends all council and committee meetings to advice councillors, as well as representing the council with local stakeholders.

Charlotte is an experienced town clerk who has worked in several councils in Wiltshire and Somerset, and has the necessary experience and qualifications to support the new Kingswood Town Council in its setup stage, as well as take the town council forward, to deliver on its ambitious programme of events and projects. She is a Fellow member of the Society of Local Council Clerks.
